Fellinger Patent #260,181

When you think of tinner’s stakes you don’t usually think of moving parts, but the boiler former stake does move. You can adjust the elastic arms to expand or contract to fit the size of the boiler. It was patented by Frederick Fellinger June 27, 1882.

It fits into the tinners’ bench plate and the perfect curve is obtained by adjustment of the bolts.
